Is it hard to control the wii remote?

I'm asking because I'm thinking I might save up and get the wii, but the remote seems hard to control since you have to move it around alot (not that I have anything against it). But I dont wanna buy it and end up not liking it because it's hard for me to play. Thanks! Is it hard to control the wii remote?
Well when you first start using the wiimote it is a little difficult to use it but once you get all of the basic moves down-packed you will be the master of the wiimote and then you can teach your friends. You can learn most of the basic moves from Wii sports. Some games like Dragon Ball Z tenkihchi 2 you can use the wii classic controller to play your games but the classic controller is sold seapertly you can buy it for $22.

Good luck saving on your wii you will not be disappointed!!Is it hard to control the wii remote?
nah it very easy to control after you get a feel for it. but if you are still thinking of buying other systems you must think of what kind of games you want .because every system specializes in diffrent games. xbox 360 are good for online multiplayer.while the ps3 is good for rpg.and for the Wii it's fun and interactive.well sorry for making this a bit long but im just giving you some options to consider.
Not difficult at all.
Its easy and fun. Worth 250 easy
go get a ps3
its not hard to control at all as long as its pointed to the sensor bar. my only problem with the remote is how fast it burns batteries. buy lithium batteries after they die for the first time. they have much more battery life
It only takes a little while to learn how to use it, once you do it actually makes gaming easier and more natural in my opinion.
At first it will be a little hard because you have to learn how to point at the screen and not wave aimlessly at the sensor bar to see your pointer. But you get over that in about 10-15 minutes. Also trying a game like Wii Play would help because it helps with your aim on certain games. You can get that game free when you buy a remote. It isn't that hard once you get used to it, so I recommend buying one!
If the game is well-done, then once you've had a few minutes to adjust to it it usually becomes very natural and easy to control. But of course, just like with a normal controller, some games will have a better, more natural controller scheme than others.
