Can throwing up reduce the effectiveness of the birth control pill?

I'm on the pill and for the past two days have been throwing up at night. I threw up about 8 or 9 hours after taking the pill so will its effectiveness be reduced? Can throwing up reduce the effectiveness of the birth control pill?
You only throw up the contents of your stomach, so, assuming you have no underlying digestive problems, you didn't throw up the pills.

If you want to take a pregnancy test, read the label first to make sure your birth control won't give you a false positive. Can throwing up reduce the effectiveness of the birth control pill?
It can make it less effective, but I would also think that if it absorbed by the time you are sick, it should still be effective since it isnt in your stomach anymore. If it keeps happening, I would definitely be concerned with how much is actually staying with you.
Throwing up may mean your leggo is preggo.
