I used to do this all the time! I'm better at controlling it now, you just got to observe yourself as it happens. Find out what triggers the crying and learn to recognise when you are about to cry - this isn't a quick fix, but you'll be more prepared to handle it. Try to avoid or get used to situations that start you off - e.g. going to shops when busyHow do control my random outbursts of tears?
You need to create some sort of mental shield, that makes you forget why you wanted to cry in the first place. Sing a song in your head maybe?
