My and my fiance are trying to get pregnant and I have been on LoEstrin for about a year and a half. How long is it going to take until I get pregnant? How long does it take for birth control to wear off?
It can take up to 12 months, but usually pregnancy occurs around 6 months. How long does it take for birth control to wear off?
Most women start ovulating again a few weeks after the last pill. A small percentage of women require a couple of months or more -- VERy rarely up to a year.
Once you are ovualting again, you are as fertile as any other couple and, statistically, (if there are no other fertility issues), you will probably be pregnant within 3-6 months of actively 'trying.'

the hormones in the birth control will leave your body within about 2 days. So, you can get pregnant any time after the end-of-pack bleeding. Usually your ovulation will be about 2 weeks to a month after you stop them. good luck!!
I think the typical time frame they tell people is a month, but I know people who have gotten pregnant just a week or two after coming off birth control. I'd say just start trying! You typically ovulate at about day 14, so half way in between periods if that helps.
It's different for everyone. I found out that I was pregnant less than a month after being off of it(Orthotricyclene). You are supposed to be pretty fertile right after so BD and have fun!
Hunny, I got pregnant the first month after I quit taking my pills. After you quit taking the pills you are extremely fertile.
