What are the side effects of birth control?

I'm taking TriNessa, to regulate my hormones. I'm not sexually active, I'd just like to know what side effects are common. I'm not starting my cycle until Sunday. What are the side effects of birth control?
The side-effect is not falling pregnant i thinkWhat are the side effects of birth control?
They include:

Nausea

Weight gain

Sore or swollen breasts

Small amount of blood, or spotting, between periods

Lighter periods

Mood changes

The following side effects, easily remembered by the word ';ACHES,'; are less common but more serious. If you experience any of these, contact your doctor immediately. If you cannot reach your doctor, go to an emergency room or urgent care center for evaluation. These symptoms may indicate a serious disorder, such as liver disease, gallbladder disease, stroke, blood clots, high blood pressure, or heart disease. They include:

Abdominal pain (stomach pain)

Chest pain

Headaches (severe)

Eye problems (blurred vision)

Swelling and/or aching in the legs and thighs
I take the same thing(generic of Ortho Tri-Cyclen). For me, some side effects have been a slight weight gain(5lbs), and I have noticed some slight facial hair(the annoying little black ones on occasion). Nothing too serious though, some say they become more sensitive to the sun and may burn easier, I've myself noticed I've gotten slight dark circles under the eye. There is also a little thing that comes with the pills that will tell you what the normal/common side effects are. I would suggest reading that. It also will tell you what are the more serious ones are too(doctor visit required).

The side effects each person experiences will vary. In my experience with birth control pills, the negative side effects I encountered were increased irritability and moodiness, decreased sex drive and delayed orgasm (meaning, it took longer to reach), and some vaginal dryness. The positive side effects were a healthier complexion, and a shorter, much ligher period, without cramps.
